‘Aha Puhala O Puna will present a lauhala-weaving workshop from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the Keaau Community Center.
Lauhala is the leaf of the puhala, or hala, tree. Projects can include a bracelet, 3-D star, fan or coaster.
Participants must bring scissors, a spray bottle and bag lunch. The cost is $5 to $10 for materials, depending on the project.
