Intro to Microsoft Excel is designed for those who own or are thinking of starting a business. Instructor Alan Ku will show participants how to create spreadsheets and how to let the program do the accounting work. The session is slated for 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 31. Tuition is $35.
Edible Landscaping with Zach Mermel teaches the dos and don’ts of turning a lanai, lawn, field or fence into an abundant oasis of edible and multifunctional plants. The workshop is scheduled for 1-5 p.m. Oct. 31. A handout of practical readings and resources is included. Tuition is $55.
Mermel also will conduct Edible and Medicinal Mushroom Cultivation, scheduled for 1-5 p.m. Nov. 7. Tuition is $85.
