Niall de Búrca, an award-winning, internationally renowned storyteller from Ireland, returns to Hawaii to headline the 2015 HSPLS Fall Children’s and Teens Program at two public libraries on the Big Island. Admission is free.

Niall de Búrca, an award-winning, internationally renowned storyteller from Ireland, returns to Hawaii to headline the 2015 HSPLS Fall Children’s and Teens Program at two public libraries on the Big Island. Admission is free.

Niall, will present “Tales of the Irish.” Niall last performed in Hawaii in 2011 as a featured artist of the annual HSPLS Children’s Summer Reading Program and received outstanding reviews. Niall offers a remarkable range of tales and tells them with great charm, judgment and superb timing.

Experience “Tales of the Irish” at 1 p.m. Monday (Nov. 9) at Laupahoehoe Public &School Library (call 962-2229) and 5:30 p.m. at Honokaa Public Library (call 775-8881).

This 45-minute performance is recommended for ages 5 and older. If a sign language interpreter or other special accommodation is needed, contact the host library as soon as possible.
