Marta Alejandro Domingo, 69, of Hawi died Nov. 1 at home. Born in Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she was disabled and a member of Kohala Senior Citizens and St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church. Visitation 1-3 p.m. Sunday (Nov. 15) at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church, Kapaau. Funeral service at 3 p.m. Burial to follow in church’s cemetery. Casual attire; flowers welcome. James Alexander Dowsett, 90, of Waimea, died Oct. 30. Born in Honolulu, he was a rancher, U.S. Army veteran and member of Hawaii Saddle Club, American Quarter Horse Association, Outrigger Canoe Club and U.S. Team Roping Championships. Celebration of life noon-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at Dowsett Ranch. Survived by wife, Mary Ann Dowsett of Waimea; sons, Alika (Aleta) Dowsett and Kawika Dowsett of Honolulu; daughters, Keahi (Bob) Kummer of Midland, Mich., Mealani (David) Morgan of Ahualoa and Poomai Dowsett of Waimea; son-in-law, Dru Brenneman of Mountain View; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
