The Blood Bank of Hawaii encourages eligible donors on the Big Island to give thanks this holiday season by making an appointment to donate blood.
You never know whose life you’ll save.
The following drives are scheduled for November (drives are subject to change):
• 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Nov. 23, University of Hawaii at Hilo Athletic Department, Campus Center Room 301, 200 W. Kawili St.
• 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Nov. 24, Aunty Sally Kaleohano’s Luau Hale, Main Room, 799 Piilani St.
• 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Nov. 25, Aunty Sally Kaleohano’s Luau Hale, Main Room, 799 Piilani St.
To donate blood, donors must be in good health, 18 years or older (17 with a signed Blood Bank of Hawaii parent/legal guardian consent form) and weigh 110 pounds or more. Donors also must bring a valid photo ID with date of birth.
