Keaau seeks football coach

Keaau High School is accepting applications for head football coach.

All applicants must be willing and able to pass a criminal background check and be interviewed by a selection panel. Applications can be picked up and returned to the Keaau High School main office during regular business hours through Dec. 31.

Archery classes

The Waiakea Recreation Center will be offering beginners archery classes for ages 9 and older.

The program will be offered from 12:30-2:30 p.m. on Dec. 22, 23, 29 and 30.

Registration is ongoing and limited to the first 12 paid participants, and the cost is $10.

Aikane tennis

Aikane Tennis will be held 7-10 p.m. Dec. 8 at Edith Kanaka’ole Multipurpose Stadium.

Members $2 and non-members are $5.

Volleyball camp

The Kamehameha volleyball team is hosting its first three-day boys and girls “Christmas Volleyball Camp,” on Dec. 28-30 at the school campus.

There are three sessions: Session I: $50 for 2nd to 8th graders, day only. Session II: $25 for high school, day and evening. Session III: $75 for high school, evening only.
