Hawaii Volcanoes National Park announces the following upcoming flight plans for December 2015:
• Between 8 and 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 7, for invasive fountain grass surveys and control work between the end of Hilina Pali Road and Puu Kukalauula.
• 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, to transport equipment and camp supplies for the anchialine pool monitoring and honuea (Hawaiian hawksbill turtle) projects between Holei flats on Chain of Craters Road and Apua, Keauhou and Halape.
The park regrets any noise impact to residents and park visitors.
Dates and times are subject to change based on aircraft availability and weather.
