Myles Seishun Arakaki, 99, of Kapaau died Nov. 28 at Ano Ano Adult Residential Care Home in Kapaau. Born in Hawi, he was a retired machinist from the former Kohala Sugar Co. and member of Hawi Jodo Mission Kyodan and Kohala Okinawa Kenjin-Kai. Visitation 1-2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, at Hawi Jodo Mission. Memorial service at 2 p.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Merle Mitsuko Endo, 67, of Hilo died Dec. 5 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born on Kauai, she was a registered nurse. Patricia Anne “Grams” Hess, 80, of Pahoa died Nov. 26 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Scranton, Pa., she was a retired transcriber for the former Hilo Radiologic Associates, part-time teacher at Pahoa High School and member of Glad Tidings Church. Joshi Jude, 75, of Kailua-Kona died Nov. 30 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Mejit, Marshall Islands, he was a retail store owner and member of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Services held. Miles “Da Sheriff” Nobuyuki Omura, 70, of Ookala died Sept. 18 at Hale Hoola Hamakua in Honokaa. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired master mechanic for Servco Pacific and honorary member of Na Kane O Ke Awawa motorcycle club.
