In a game that was tied at the half, Tara Kekuaokalani helped the Waveriders (0-2) stay close with eight points.

The Dragons improved to 2-0.

Honokaa won the JV game 49-11.

Keaau 51, Ka’u 26: Hunter Muranaka led the way with 20 points and Valerie Pertubal had 13 as the host Cougars evened their record at 1-1.

Pahoa (0-2) scored six points in the opening quarter, but just five the rest of the way.

April Caponia led Pahoa with five points.
