Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects wanted for a theft from a business in Keaau.
Between 10:15 and 10:45 p.m. Nov. 24, two unknown suspects entered a papaya farm warehouse on Milo Street and stole a utility trailer and a porta-potty.
Police later recovered the porta-potty. The utility trailer, which still has not been recovered, is described as a black rear-loading ATV trailer.
Both of the suspects’ images were captured on surveillance video. One suspect was wearing shorts with a long-sleeved shirt and a baseball cap with an attached headlamp. The other was seen riding an ATV on the property and wearing long pants with a hooded jacket.
Anyone with information about this case, the location of the trailer or the identity of the people in the photos that accompany this story is asked to call the police nonemergency line at 935-3311 or Officer Shea Nactor at 965-2716.
Those who prefer anonymity can call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 and might be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
