Kazuyoshi “Kats” “Kachan” Aoki, 90, of Captain Cook died Nov. 20 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kealakekua, he was a retired county fire captain, real estate agent and broker for Lentz and Gold Coast Realty, coffee farmer, orchid grower, golfer and member of Kona Hongwanji Buddhist Temple and Akitsu Gumiai. Visitation 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, at Kona Hongwanji Buddhist Temple in Kealakekua. Memorial service 3 p.m. Casual attire.
