Police say a 19-year-old man reported an armed robbery Monday in Puna.

The man reportedly told police he was held up on Pohaku Circle in Hawaiian Paradise Park. According to a police log, the report was made at 5:16 p.m. Monday.

A police spokeswoman said “items from his person” were taken. She also said police are withholding the type of weapon allegedly used in the holdup.

No arrests have been made.

The suspect is described as a man in his 20s, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 270 pounds with brown eyes and hair.
