At information sessions today in Kona and Monday in Hilo, entrepreneurs will learn about the programs offered by the state Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism and the High Technology Development Corporation.
The “New Money for Your Business” sessions being hosted statewide are aimed at helping companies grow their business, according to DBEDT Director Luis Salaveria.
“We are continuing to work on growing jobs, raising incomes and cultivating innovation,” he said.
“Supporting the growth of technology businesses and entrepreneurship on the Neighbor Islands are key factors in raising the profile of tech and innovation throughout the state.”
Today’s session is from 9-11 a.m. at the Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii Authority Gateway Center, 73-4460 Queen Kaahumanu Highway in Kailua-Kona.
Monday’s session is from 4-6 p.m. at the County of Hawaii Aupuni Center Conference Room at 101 Pauahi St. in Hilo.
