Waiakea High School’s class of 2017 invites the Big Island community to enjoy the festivities at its annual fundraising Junior Country Fair from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 5 at the school cafeteria.

The fair will feature a silent auction, fun run, plant sale, live music, food, games and a rummage sale with a variety of great buys. Anyone who purchased pre-sale sweetbread fundraiser tickets from the class of 2017 can redeem their tickets at this time.

Money raised will aid in paying for upcoming senior year expenses. The cafeteria is conveniently accessible through the upper student parking lot.

Donations for the rummage sale are being accepted from 9 a.m.-noon Jan. 17, and Feb. 28, in front of the school library. Student helpers will be ready to assist in unloading items from vehicles.

If interested in participating in the 5K/1.5-mile fun run/walk, forms are available at Big Island Running Co., Spencer’s Health &Fitness, Sports Line Hawaii and Waiakea High School.
