During that time, residents in the area who want to register a firearm can make an appointment at either the South Hilo police station by calling 961-2239 or at the Honokaa police station by calling 775-7533.
Anyone wanting to leave a message for an officer stationed in North Hilo can call the Honokaa police station at 775-7533.
