Mandi Kawaha scored 17 points, Sharlei Graham-Bernisto added 12 and Shalyn Guthier had 11 for the Hilo (7-0), which plays Pahoa on Thursday then turns its attention to eventful final week of the regular season and home games against Division I foes Honokaa and Konawaena.
Naai Solomon Lewis scored 13 points for the Cowgirls (4-3), who have lost two in a row and sole possession of first place in Division II.

Mikayla Tablit added 18 for Konawaena. Winners of 88 league games in a row, it hosts Kohala on Thursday before trying to finish another perfect regular season at Hilo on Jan. 29.
Mimi Werdegar led Ka Makani (0-5) with six points. HPA’s biggest game of the regular season comes Jan. 26 at Pahoa, with the winner taking a big step toward locking down the final playoff spot in Division II.

Hunter Muranaka scored seven points for the Cougars (2-5), who fell a full game behind Waiakea for the last playoff spot in Division I.
