The Exhibit Gallery in Hilo is hosting a free two-day Keiki Abstract Art Workshop from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Feb. 2-3 with some of the Big Island’s most respected art teachers.

The Exhibit Gallery in Hilo is hosting a free two-day Keiki Abstract Art Workshop from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Feb. 2-3 with some of the Big Island’s most respected art teachers.

The workshop is open to children of all ages. The Exhibit promises to provide a safe environment to learn in an abstract art setting with guided or freestyle art experiences.

This event will culminate with two benefit auctions with proceeds going to the Hale ‘Ohana Shelter. Art made by the keiki as well as other artwork donated by local artists will be sold.

A live auction is from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Feb. 6 at The Exhibit, 168 Keawe St., Suite D, in the back of Hilo Town Tavern. The silent auction will be conducted from 5-10 p.m. between Feb. 8 and 15.
