The Hawaii Community Foundation is accepting applications for scholarships provided by its THINK Fund.
Established by contributions from the Thirty Meter Telescope, the fund, in its second year, will award $100,000 in scholarships to Hawaii Island residents in May.
According to TMT, 24 students received the awards last year ranging from $3,000 to $7,500 each.
Fourteen recipients were from East Hawaii; nine were from West Hawaii.
