The College of Continuing Education and Community Service at the University of Hawaii at Hilo is hosting job interviewing workshops in Hilo and Kailua-Kona in February.
The Hilo workshop will be from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Feb. 13 in UCB Room 331. The Kona workshop is from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Feb, 27 at the Hawaii Community College-Palamanui campus, Room B126.
The cost is $75. The workshops are led by Jeani Navarro, who has more than 20 years of interviewing and hiring experience.

UHH alumni banquet Feb. 27
Tickets are on sale for the University of Hawaii at Hilo’s 16th annual Distinguished Alumni and Service Awards Banquet scheduled for Feb. 27 at the Campus Center Dining Hall.
Doors open at 5 p.m. Tickets are $85 each or $680 for a table of eight.
This year’s distinguished alumni honorees are former UH-Hilo interim athletic director and baseball coach Joseph Estrella, District Court Judge Barbara Takase and Noreen Yamane, recently retired Hawaii Community College chancellor.
The event includes a buffet dinner and the opportunity to meet and network with the university community, alumni, business leaders and supporters.

Class of 1946 going to Vegas
The Hilo High School class of 1946 will gather for its 70th and probably the final class reunion June 9-10 at the Fremont Hotel in Las Vegas.

This year’s Hilo High School retirement luncheon is March 10 at Nani Mau Gardens.
The luncheon is from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and anyone who worked at Hilo High and since retired is invited.
