Recycle Hawaii receives grant
Recycle Hawaii recently received a much-needed boost with a $20,000 grant from the Swain Barber Foundation.
Since 2008, the California-based foundation has provided support for various Recycle Hawaii outreach and educational programs, including past efforts in the collection and recycling of electronic waste (e-waste) and home composting workshops islandwide to help reduce electronics and organic waste going to island landfills.
