“This is a great service for the island, enabling people from other districts to come experience beautiful Kohala,” said Elaine Christianson, Hawaii Palm Properties owner.

The building’s owners, Holly and Eila Algood, share a passion for environmentally friendly living and working.

Holly Algood is the Eco Talk host on local KNKR radio station. She did a show about electric vehicles in September during Electric Vehicle Week and interviewed Noel Norin, Big Island Electric Vehicle Association president, and Cody Osborne, the association’s secretary.

“We were very excited and began talking about how we could take action to expand the EV experience here on our island,” the Algoods said.

The EV Stations Hawaii app shows the 22 charging locations across the island.
