On the Big Island, 33 warrants were executed, resulting in 33 arrests with a total bail amount of $119,125. Those arrested had an average of 22 prior arrests per individual, U.S. Marshals said.
Statewide, 162 fugitives were nabbed on 258 outstanding arrest warrants, generating a total bail amount of $6,846,098 for all warrants executed.
In addition, various amounts of narcotics were recovered and seized during arrest operations. All seized narcotics were turned over to the respective police departments for further investigation and prosecution of new charges.
