Karen Hiromi Fujiyama, 69, of Hilo died March 28 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, she was retired from the state of Hawaii as an unemployment insurance supervisor. Visitation from 4-5 p.m. Wednesday (April 6) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo. Funeral service at 5 p.m.; cremation to follow. Casual attire; no flowers.
