Carol Ann Hisayo Bowen, 72, of Hilo died Feb. 20 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a teller for the former First International Savings and Loan and member of Kinoole Baptist Church. Elizabeth Yok Chien Martin, 81, of Hilo died March 29 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Kurtistown, she was a retired teacher who worked for Pahala Elementary, Mountain View Elementary, Henry Opukahaia, Haumana Christian and Hilo Union school, was a member of Hilo United Methodist Church and widow of the late Rev. Arthur Martin. Private services. Donald “Don” Carlon McGrorty, 82, of Keaau died April 3 at a private care home.
