Terry Glen “Butch” Cabral Sr., 68, of Pahoa died March 29 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired heavy equipment operator and former crane service owner on Oahu. Mildred Orino Kuwana, 100, of Pahoa died April 3 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Honomu, she was a retired Pahoa postmaster and member of Hilo Higashi Hongwanji Mission Kyodan and Fujinkai, Kyu Pahoa Kumiai, Pahoa Nikkei Jin Kai, and National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association. Virginia Leinaala Oleyte, 83, of Pahala died Feb. 26 at Ka‘u Hospital. Naoto “Pee Wee” Oye, 93, of Hilo, formerly of Honolulu, died March 25 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a former customer service representative for the former Pan-American Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines, sales manager for Hawaiian Papaya and member of Hilo Higashi Hongwanji Mission, and a U.S. Army World War II veteran in Military Intelligence Service.
