Police say tips from the public led to the recovery of a pair of Everlast boxing gloves that had been taken from a home in Hawaiian Beaches during a burglary earlier this year.
The gloves, which have the signatures of numerous boxers and referees who participated in the 1984 Olympic Games, were located April 4 at a home in the Orchidland Estates subdivision in Puna.
Police continue to investigate the burglary.
