Vuls slip past Urban Knights to split series
The UH-Hilo baseball team beat Academy of Art 7-6 on Sunday in Oakland, Calif., to split a four-game series.
The Vuls (7-30, 6-26 PacWest) play at San Francisco State (18-20) on Tuesday to conclude a nine-game road trip.
The Vuls have already extended their collegiate-record losing streak to 24 seasons on the NCAA Division I and II and NAIA levels.

The Vuls’ worst record in Division II, which they joined in 2009, is last year’s 11-36 mark.
