Three federal vehicles were stolen early Tuesday morning from Aohoku Place in Hilo.

Three federal vehicles were stolen early Tuesday morning from Aohoku Place in Hilo.

Police didn’t identify the specific location; a Facebook post said it was the University of Hawaii’s Institute for Astronomy parking lot.

A gray 2011 Ford pickup truck, a white 2014 Ford flatbed truck and a black 2013 Ford Explorer were removed, according to police. All have federal license plates.
