festival in Waimea
Top sea glass and coastal artists and authors from across North America will showcase and sell their collections and creations at the first Sea Glass and Coastal Arts Festival from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. May 15 at Anna Ranch in Waimea.
General admission to the festival is $5, free for children 11 and younger. A portion of the proceeds will benefit coastal conservation efforts.

Agriculture classes set at OK Farms
“Ultra Low Cost Agriculture” classes with Youngsang Cho are being offered from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. May 27-28 at OK Farms in Hilo.
The cost of the two-day program is $100 and tickets are available at Sweet Cane Café or online at LowCostAg.eventbrite.com. An optional lunch from Sweet Cane Café is $15 per day.
