Charles “Charlie” Lindbergh Grace, 52, of Captain Cook died March 21 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Kealakekua, he was a Hawaiian cultural practitioner and employed by Hawaii Pacific Parks Association as a cultural demonstrator at Puuhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, fisherman and member of Na Koa, Na Kalaiwa‘a, St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, Kona Iki Trollers Fishing Club and Wee Guys Fishing. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday, May 14, at Hano Grace’s home, 81-6308 Hawaii Belt Road in Captain Cook. Celebration of life at 10 a.m. Scattering of ashes Sunday, May 15, at Honaunau Bay. Casual attire; loose flowers welcome. Tripina Pio Labrador, 77, of Honokaa died April 23 at Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua in Honokaa. Born in Bantog, Asingan, Pangasinan, the Philippines, she worked on a Waimea strawberry farm. Services and committal in the Philippines at a later date. Survived by husband, Zacarias D. Labrador of Honokaa; sons, Ramil Labrador of the Philippines and Ruben Labrador of Honokaa; daughters, Marifi Labrador and Rosita Paine of Honokaa; brothers and sisters in the Philippines; sister-in-law, Teresita (Alfredo) Gacula of Seattle; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
