Born in Atok, Flora, Apayao, the Philippines, she was a self-employed guava and papaya farmer and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pahoa. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Tuesday (May 17) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Visitation again 8-10 a.m. Wednesday (May 18) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Pahoa. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at church cemetery. Casual attire. Survived by husband, Angelo Jose of Hilo; sons, Victor (Debbie Tagalicod) Jose of Pahoa and Joel Jose of Pepeekeo; daughters, Erma (Rudy) Natividad and Bong (Irene Pasol) Rivera of Lihue, Kauai, Gemmalee (John) Arellano of Keaau, Judith (Lito) Acob of Hilo; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
