Bay Clinic Inc. celebrated the grand opening of its new administration office May 5 with a blessing ceremony attended by nearly 100 guests.
The move to the new office at 450 Kilauea Ave. provides the space needed for Bay Clinic to centralize its administrative departments and upgrade its business processes to better serve its patients.
The ceremony included a tour of the office that houses Bay Clinic’s information technology department, as well as the executive office, including finance, clinical operations, operations, human resources and development.
“This move allowed us to expand our IT infrastructure, establish our training center and call center, upgrade our billing department spaces, and expand our meeting capabilities,” said Harold Wallace, Bay Clinic CEO.
The new training center enables Bay Clinic to expand its workforce development initiative. The training program will partner with other organizations and internal departments to offer a complete career program focusing on skills development opportunities and career growth.
“We are only as good as our people, and investing in them is the smart thing to do because the results will be higher retention and better engagement and patient outcomes,” Wallace said.
Bay Clinic Inc. is a nonprofit, federally qualified health center with 170 employees at nine sites.
