Obama’s directive

Obama’s directive

Why is President Barack Obama so concerned about transgenders?

The Obama administration is now telling public schools that transgenders have the legal right to use whatever restroom they feel like using. Furthermore, if public schools don’t obey his administrative directive, the violating school could lose federal funding.

Why is it so important for Obama to threaten schools with blackmail for not following his obsession with the homosexual lifestyle?

Are the schools on the Big Island going to automatically conform with Obama’s directive? What do the parents of school children think of his directive? What do the children who are not transgender think of his directive?

Does this mean male teachers who believe they are really more female than a male would be allowed to use the female teachers’ restrooms? How do the teachers feel about this directive?

In addition, would not Obama’s directive also have to include female students and female teachers who believe they are more male than female, and thus be allowed to use the boys’ or male teachers’ restrooms?

What kind of Pandora’s homosexual box has Obama opened in America?

Don’t need Costco

Many East Hawaii residents and visitors want to see a Costco built here. I do applaud their dispensing of organic food choices. Pesticides, herbicides, toxic chemical fertilizers and genetically engineered foods have been linked to an increase in autism, food allergies, attention deficit disorder and digestive disorders.

Some of Costco’s organic food comes from China. I would trust their organic standards as far as I could throw the Great Wall.

Costco encourages overbuying, overpackaging and overeating of, oftentimes, nutritionally vacant foods. (Have you seen an obese person lately?) How often do you let food spoil and have to toss it?

Who needs more asphalt parking lots paving over our sacred, potentially agricultural, land?

I have not mentioned the value of supporting Earth-friendly and health-enhancing outlets such as farmer’s markets and natural food stores.

All food shipped or flown to Hawaii requires tremendous amounts of climate-changing oil. There is more to life than getting a good deal.
