Albert Akihiro Kami, 91, of Hilo died May 7 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired Bank of Hawaii assistant vice president and served as in interpreter in the U.S. Army Military Intelligence Service in occupied Japan. Services held.
