County to repave downtown Hilo parking lot

The county Department of Public Works will begin reconstruction work on the parking lot located on the corner of Waianuenue Avenue and Keawe Street in downtown Hilo on Tuesday.

The parking lot will be closed for the duration of the project that is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday, June 6, weather conditions permitting.

Work will be done between the hours of 8 a.m.-2 p.m., there will be no work on the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
