Felicidad “Phyllis” M. Kane, 83, of Gardena, Calif., died May 16. Born in Hilea, Ka‘u, she owned and operated Hawaiian Sweet Islands, a shave ice syrup company, with her husband, Richard Kane Jr. Celebration of life 11 a.m. Friday, June 3, at Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 S.
