David Wild
Sport: triathlon
For the second consecutive year, Wild nabs the honor – which could again be called Educator of the Week – for being the top island finisher at the the Ironman 70.3 Hawaii triathlon.
On Saturday, Wild finished fifth at Honu, calling the race “fun and challenging.” He finished in 4 hours, 28 minutes and 35 seconds.
As a repeat winner, Wild gets a fresh set of questions. As a math teacher at Konawaena, one was a no-brainer.
