The College of Continuing Education and Community Service at the University of Hawaii at Hilo is offering a film appreciation series with instructor Artin Mardirousi.

Classes are from 5-9 p.m. Wednesdays, June 15 through July 6, in UH-Hilo’s K-122. Tuition is $60.

Mardirousi graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles with a degree in philosophy and a minor in film studies. He has worked as a freelance videographer and production assistant for television shows and commercials in Los Angeles.

• “Pulp Fiction” (1994), editing/writing.
