Herbert “Chico” Frasco, 75, of Kekaha Gardens, Kauai, died June 4. Born in Kona, he was a retired boat captain for the U.S. Navy’s Pacific Missile Firing Range, a Navy veteran and 1959 graduate of Hilo High School. Visitation noon Friday, June 24, at MacArthur Park in Kekaha. Celebration of life service and luncheon to follow. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Survived by wife, Barbara Frasco; sons, Herbert Frasco of Kekaha, Howard (Kim) Frasco of Eleele, Kauai, and Brandon Frasco of Kekaha; daughter, Barbie Jo Frasco of Kekaha; siblings, Reynold “Maka” Frasco of Hilo, Lei (Larry) Bernades, Wayne (Barbara) Aguilar and Susan (Doug) Latham of Waianae, Oahu; hanai children, Chad Kahawai and Angel Kaohelauli‘i of Pakala, Kauai; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brothers- and sisters-in-law; nephews and nieces.
