July 4 road closures

Police have announced the following road closures for July 4 festivities in Hilo:

• Bayfront Highway (Route 19) from Waianuenue Avenue to Pauahi Street will be closed from 6-10 p.m. July 4. Motorists may use Kamehameha Avenue as an alternate route.

• Lihiwai Street will be closed from 2 a.m. to 10 p.m. July 4.
