Patricia Scott Horton, 82, of Kekaha, Kauai, formerly of Honokaa, died June 20. Born in Honolulu, she was an accounts payable clerk for Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. Visitation 10:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 2, at Kekaha Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Service at 11:30 a.m. Survived by daughters, Barbara (Sid) Kini and Beverly (Richard) Lavens of Kauai; son, Douglas (Yvette) Horton of Kauai; brothers, Ritchie (Mary) Gentry of California and Jock (Jolene) Gentry of Hawaii; sister, Helen Coffman of Kauai; eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Hinano “Uncle Dude” Ha‘aheo Enoka Kawaauhau, 31, of Waimea died May 20. Born in Kona, he worked for Fred’s Nursery. Michele Etsuko Fujii Tsuneda, 63, of Hilo died June 15 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hakalau, she was a speech pathologist, educational assistant and tutor for several schools, and formerly a Department of Health audiometric assistant and clerk for the former Hilo Coast Processing Co. Yayeko “Yaeko” “Betty” Wakida, 93, of Hilo, formerly of Kona, died June 9 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Onomea, she was a kitchen worker at the former Hilo Memorial Hospital, retired farmer, homemaker, member of Koboji Shingon Mission on Oahu and Honomu Henjoji Mission and sports enthusiast who enjoyed cooking, baking, embroidery and crocheting. Services held. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by daughters, Myra Wakida and Ruth Wakida of Hilo; brothers, Takumi (Molly) Isotani of Hilo and Van Isotani of Honolulu; sister, Lynn (George) Tanaka of Honolulu; nieces, nephews and cousins.
