• Malia Fumiko Nemeth of Hilo graduated June 11 with a bachelor’s degree in public health and human services from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Ore. Her degree is in the discipline of health promotion and health behavior, with a minor in psychology and pre-nursing.
Nemeth is a 2011 graduate of St. Joseph High School in Hilo. She is the daughter of Stephen Nemeth and Ann Usagawa of Hilo.
