Talauega Aumua, 70, of Hilo died July 9 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Western Samoa, he was Big Island manager for Alii Security and former owner of Polynesian Banana Farm in Keaau. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Sunday (July 17) at Samoan Seventh-day Adventist Church in Kurtistown. Wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation again 9-10:30 a.m. Monday (July 18) at the church. Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Section 4. Survived by wife, Geraldine L. Mary Kay Budar, 59, of Kailua-Kona died July 12 at home. Born in Cleveland, she was a manager for Budar Insurance Agency-Allstate and member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church and U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. Harutoku “Hot Dog” “Kim” Kimura, 86, of Volcano died July 12 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Pohakea, he was a retired U.S. Army first sergeant who served during the Korean and Vietnam wars and recipient of a Bronze Star Medal and Purple Heart. No services. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by sons, Robert Kimura of Volcano and Sheldon (Yumiko) Kimura of Mililani, Oahu; daughters, Joyce (Paul) Osborn and Jasmine (Pete Bettinger) Kimura of California; hanai son, Paul Lee of Keaukaha; sister-in-law, Kazue Kimura of Kalopa; two granddaughters. Michael Kenneth Andrew Nanalook, 37, of Honolulu and North Kohala, died July 9 at his North Kohala home.
