Police are seeking witnesses to the theft of a car from a Hilo parking lot.

On Tuesday, a 40-year-old woman reported her gray 2005 Toyota four-door sedan was taken from the Sack N Save parking lot on Kanoelehua Avenue.

Investigation led to the identity of a suspect, 33-year-old Jessica Nasario of Hilo, police said. She was arrested Wednesday in the Wainaku area of Hilo.

On Friday, Nasario was charged with driving a stolen vehicle, promoting a dangerous drug, promoting a harmful drug, marijuana possession, drug paraphernalia and carrying a deadly weapon.

Her bail was set at $7,250 and her initial court appearance is scheduled Monday.
