Lynn Yvette Guthrie-Dalao, 75, of Hilo died July 31 at North Hawaii Community Hospital in Waimea. Born in San Pedro, Calif., she was a homemaker, missionary, cook and wife of a career U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran. Daisy C. Luke, 82, of Hawi died July 26 in Walnut Creek, Calif. Born in Kohala, she was a business owner and member of St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church, who loved spending time with family and friends, gardening and cooking.
