During forums next week, Big Island residents will get to weigh in how future growth is managed.

The Hawaii County Planning Department is asking for input for a comprehensive review of its general plan.

The document guides long-term growth on the island, and is updated about every 10 years.

The meetings are slated for 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at 25 Aupuni St., Hilo, and Thursday at the County Council Chambers in Kona, 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway.
