Kinuyo “Kay” Matsumoto, 82, of Honolulu died Aug. 19 in Honolulu. She was born in North Kohala. Visitation 5:30-6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Nuuanu Memorial Park and Mortuary in Honolulu. Service at 6 p.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by husband, Roy; daughters, Jan Kitamori of Kaneohe, Oahu, and Sandi Burgon of Honolulu; sister, Toshiko Murakami of North Kohala; three grandchildren. Arrangements by Nuuanu Memorial Park and Mortuary.

Fumiko Moriuchi, 98, of Hilo died July 31 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Kapaa, Kauai, she was a homemaker and a member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin. Services held. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by daughters, Vinnie Shishido of Hilo and Lurline (Andrew) Hirata of Keaau; brother-in-law, Raymond Okamura of Honolulu; a grandson and a great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews.
