William “Billy” “Jay-R” Alan Joyce Jr., 55 of Ocean View died Sept. 14 at home. Born in Tacoma, Wash., he was an inventor, artist, surfer and fisherman. Margaret Lopez, 85, of Hilo died Aug. 16 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Lanai City, Lanai, she was a retired mixologist at Bar-E and Top Hat Bar in Wahiawa, Oahu, formerly employed at Marion’s Catering and volunteer for the Salvation Army.
