Raymond “Blue” Branco Jr., 70, of Kailua-Kona died Aug. 19 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kealakekua, he was employed by Puu Waa Waa Ranch before becoming a truck driver who worked for Volcanite, Shield Pacific and retired from West Hawaii Concrete, and a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Visitation 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Kailua-Kona. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Lunch and fellowship to follow. Casual attire. Robert Richard “Tag” Taggart, 64, of Hilo died Sept. 13 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center.
