The Hawaii Island Contractors’ Association and its co-sponsors, Bank of Hawaii and HPM Building Supply recently awarded three $750 scholarships to second-year Hawaii Community College students.
• Francis Dalere, a machine, welding and industrial mechanics technologies major.
• Aljune Drequito, an architectural engineering cad technologies major.
• Rachel Papalimu, a carpentry major.
For the past 17 years, HICA and its co-sponsors host an annual Scholarship Trolling Tournament to fund the scholarships for students entering their second year of college pursuing a degree in a construction-related field.
